The weight of war is a heavy burden, for all who are involved. The physical mass of the sculpture embodies the gravitative weight of the warfare. While the simplistic continuity of the sculpture represents the ebb and flow of an individual’s natural life cycle; that is life and death to which we all shadow. The structure is consciously declined to a degree as a reference to the abrupt rate at which the cycle of soldiers lives which is untimely severed.
